Other Settings

In this section, you can control miscellaneous settings for a specific form. You can enable or disable Cloud Storage Manager's branded styling for the upload field, and when enabled, use the Designer to customize how the upload field looks on that form.

Configure Other Settings

Custom Upload Field Styling

The Custom Upload Field Styling option determines whether Cloud Storage Manager applies its branded styling to the upload field on the selected form.

  • Enabled: Cloud Storage Manager applies its branded styling to the upload field and the Designer panel appears below so you can customize colors, borders, and other visual properties for this form.
  • Disabled: Cloud Storage Manager's styling is turned off for this form. The upload field falls back to Fluent Forms or your active theme's design.

Toggle Cloud Storage Manager's upload field styling on or off. Disable this to maintain your existing Fluent Forms or theme design.

Designer

When Custom Upload Field Styling is enabled, the Designer panel appears below the toggle. All changes you make in the Designer are applied to this form only — other forms keep their own styling.

The Designer is grouped into three sections — Dropzone, Button, and File item — followed by a Live Preview that updates in real time.

Dropzone

The Dropzone group controls the area where users drag and drop files.

  • Border color: The color of the border around the dropzone.
  • Border style: The border line style. Choose from None, Solid, Dashed, Dotted, or Double.
  • Background color: The dropzone's background color.
  • Hover background color: The background color shown when the user hovers over the dropzone or drags a file over it.
  • Hint / label text color: The text color used for the dropzone hint and the field's label.
  • Border radius: How rounded the dropzone corners are.
  • Border width: The thickness of the dropzone border.

Button

The Button group controls the "Choose File" button inside the dropzone.

  • Background: The button's background color.
  • Text color: The text color used on the button.

File item

The File item group controls the row that appears under the dropzone after a file has been added. This row shows the filename, file size, progress bar, and the remove button.

  • Surface color: The background color of the file item card.
  • File name color: The color of the file name text.
  • File size color: The color of the file size text shown next to the filename.
  • Success color: The color used for the success state — completed progress bar and the "Completed" message.
  • Error color: The color used for the error state and the remove button hover.

Live Preview

The Live Preview below the Designer renders a sample form with name and email fields followed by the upload dropzone and a sample completed file item. The preview updates in real time as you change values, so you can see exactly how the upload field will look before saving.

A Light / Dark switch in the preview header lets you flip the preview between light mode and dark mode. Toggle it on to see how your chosen colors look against a dark backdrop. This switch only affects the preview — it does not change what is saved.

TIP

Hover your cursor over the dropzone in the preview to see the Hover background color in action.

Reset to defaults

Click the Reset to defaults link in the Designer header to restore every value to Cloud Storage Manager's defaults. A confirmation popup will appear before the reset is applied.

WARNING

Resetting only updates the values in the Designer. Click Save Settings afterward to persist the change.

Save Settings

After configuring your styling, click the Save Settings button to apply the changes to the selected form.
